About Palo Alto Catering Company

Catering built for the pace of the Mid-Peninsula.

Palo Alto runs on tight calendars. A working lunch that has to be plated before a 12:30 standup, a Stanford department reception squeezed between lectures, a Sand Hill Road dinner where the room matters as much as the food. We cook the morning of service, load for the exact building we are walking into, and arrive early enough that nobody in the room ever has to wonder where the caterer is.

A local Palo Alto team with a full commissary behind it

Palo Alto Catering Company operates under Fresh Pulp Holdings LLC, a group of Bay Area catering brands that together book well past a thousand events a year and have served more than a million guests.

Day to day, that shows up as one coordinator who picks up the phone, already knows your building's loading rules, and owns your event from the first menu draft through the final invoice. Behind that coordinator sits shared kitchen capacity, purchasing leverage, and a rental inventory no boutique shop could carry on its own. A Tuesday investor breakfast on Sand Hill Road and a Saturday reception in a Professorville backyard are both an ordinary week here.

The chef behind the menu

Executive Chef
Jason Wilder

Jason has spent a decade building this menu at live events rather than in a test kitchen. A dish only earns a permanent spot after it has survived a program running forty minutes behind, a buffet line two hundred guests deep, and a crowd that comes back for seconds.

That is why the range reads deep rather than padded — Italian, Mexican, barbecue, Mediterranean, and American comfort cooking, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free versions developed alongside the originals and labeled right at the tray. Nearly every Palo Alto headcount we quote includes a few, and no guest should have to flag down a server to ask what is in the pan.
